Sync Status Checks Are Now Pointed at the Right API Endpoint
Status indicators are only useful if they reflect reality. When the polling mechanism behind sync status checks pointed to a stale API endpoint, schools saw misleading indicators—either a stuck spinner or an all-clear that didn't match what was actually happening in the sync pipeline.
Corrected sync status polling
We realigned the sync status polling to point at the current, correct API endpoint. Status indicators now reflect the actual state of the sync: running, complete, or failed—with accurate timing and no false signals.
For registrars who monitor syncs in real time—particularly during back-to-school roster loads when data accuracy is critical—this fix restores confidence in what the status panel is showing. A spinning indicator now means the sync is actually running. A green checkmark means it actually finished.
Combine accurate status indicators with time zone-accurate sync log timestamps and the empty-log-means-complete behavior for a complete, trustworthy picture of your integration's health.
For districts running automated sync health checks, the corrected endpoint also means monitoring scripts return accurate status codes rather than cached responses from the old endpoint.
