Sync log timestamps and Infinite Campus OneRoster pairing

Sync Log Timestamps Now Reflect Your School's Time Zone

A sync log timestamp that shows 3:14 AM when your registrar knows the sync runs at 11 PM is a small annoyance that compounds over time—especially when you're trying to confirm whether last night's run completed before the morning bell.

Time zone-accurate sync log entries

Sync log timestamps now follow the school's configured time zone rather than the server's UTC offset. A school in the Central time zone sees timestamps in Central time. A school in Pacific time sees Pacific timestamps. The run time displayed in the log matches what the registrar's clock shows when the sync actually ran.

This improvement applies to all sync types: OneRoster, direct SIS integrations, and manual upload logs. For districts with schools in multiple time zones, each school's log reflects that school's local time.

If you've been mentally adjusting sync timestamps to account for the server offset, you can stop. See also the guidance on what an empty sync log means—accurate timestamps and clear completion status together make the sync log a reliable diagnostic tool.
