Translator Requests, Language on Agendas, and a Practical Checklist for New Locales

An inclusive conference isn't just one where parents can schedule—it's one where parents can participate fully when they arrive. For families whose primary language isn't English, that often means needing a translator in the room.

Translator requests during booking

Parents can now request a translator during the scheduling flow, selecting their language preference from a list. The request appears on the school's conference report alongside the appointment, so staff can arrange interpreter support before the event rather than scrambling on the night.

This feature works alongside PTC Wizard's multilingual interface: families who schedule in Spanish or Korean see the translator request option in their language. The translator need doesn't require a phone call or a separate form—it's part of the same booking flow every family uses.

Language display on agendas

The family's preferred language now appears on the printed and digital agenda, so teachers and interpreters can see at a glance what language support is needed for each meeting. No more relying on staff memory or separate spreadsheets to track which families need language assistance.

For administrators adding new language locales to their configuration, this release includes a new locale checklist—covering validation steps, copy review requirements, and how to notify families that scheduling is available in their language.
