Double booking when your school policy allows it

When Your School Policy Allows It, PTC Wizard Can Allow Overlapping Bookings

Most schools configure PTC Wizard to prevent parents from booking two meetings at the same time—that's the sensible default. But some schools operate under different policies: group conferences, team-taught classes, or event structures where overlapping time slots are intentional and allowed.

School-level configuration for double booking

Schools can now configure PTC Wizard to permit overlapping bookings when their policy requires it. The setting is controlled at the school level by an administrator, so the default behavior—blocking double bookings—remains unchanged for all schools that haven't explicitly enabled the exception.

This is most relevant for schools running concurrent group sessions, advisory-period conferences, or team-taught courses where two teachers share responsibility for the same students and meeting both simultaneously is the intended design. Contact your PTC Wizard representative to discuss whether this configuration applies to your event structure. See also per-teacher booking limits for the complementary control on the other side of the policy spectrum.
