Snappier parent agenda after canceling a meeting

Cancel a Meeting and Get Right Back to Scheduling—No Waiting, No Jumping

Canceling a meeting in the middle of a booking session should be a minor course correction, not a page refresh. In previous versions, canceling a meeting from the agenda caused the interface to reload or jump unexpectedly—enough of a jolt that parents sometimes had to reorient themselves before continuing.

In-place agenda updates after cancellation

The agenda now updates in place when a meeting is canceled. The canceled slot is removed cleanly, the remaining appointments stay visible, and the parent can immediately book a replacement slot or close the browser—without a page reload or scroll position reset.

This change is most valuable during the days leading up to a conference event, when families adjust their schedules and cancellations are common. A smoother cancellation flow reduces the likelihood that a parent abandons the session after canceling, which previously appeared as an incomplete booking in school reports. Pair this with the improved booking confirmation screen for a complete, reliable booking experience from first selection to final confirmation.
